Hi everyone! Today, we are going to present you Merzouga.

Merzouga is a little city situated in the Sahara desert. It’s a new tourist places because we can leave Merzouga by camels to go in the Sahara, the night we can sleep in a typical Berber camp for example.

The problem is that the tourism increase because of this trip but there is not enough hotels over there. In addition the site is threatened by the excessive tourism and the overuse of the water resources.

If you go to Merzouga you can’t missed the dunes, there are very beautiful and calm, there is no noise at all, it’s really quiet.

If you want to eat the inevitable Berber pizza, you have to go in a restaurant called Nora.

Did you know? The biggest dunes of Morocco are in Merzouga there are very impressive and high.

Our feeling: We loved this city it was magic and the trip in the desert was very cool, we saw lot of animals like fennec or viper and the food of the Berbers is just delicious.
